Intentional FilmmakingAn Innovative Personal Filmmaker Training Course to Get Films CompletedBy banishing doubt and trusting your intuitive feelings,
Is your pitch working? Are you coming up short on the money you raised for your film? Are you worried that your great idea will remain just that? Then, this class is for you. Intentional Filmmaking is a first of its kind, unique, 6 month course that combines filmmaking mentoring with manifesting to get films funded. Carole Dean, president of From The Heart Productions, author of the best-selling “The Art of Film Funding” as well “The Art of Manifesting”, combines her expertise and knowledge of both to lead a class of 9 filmmakers on how to best use their minds and their talents to bring their projects to fruition. This class is also to get you on track and keep you moving forward daily with producing and funding your film. When you have completed the course, you will be 110% confident you can raise the money to make the film. Learn How To Get Your Film Finally FundedThere will be 6 personal one-on-one consultations (one each month) as well as 12 group meetings (two each month). In these sessions, you will be joined by experts in the fields of editing, music scoring, and producing. Classes will work on:
Unblock Your Mind to Unleash Your Financial and Creative PotentialAt the same time the class is working on the “to do” list, class members will be helped to use their minds to create their films. Carole will guide them in study and explore ways to improve their self-esteem and to overcome any blocks to receiving money. The Dictionary says intention is an element of Genius. It is also extreme strength, force and energy. This class is to teach you how to put that energy into manifesting your film, by using the power of your mind. The PEAR (Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research) studies by Brenda Dunne and Dr. Robert Jahn proved that the mind can overrule computer programming. They ran thousands of tests with normal people who sat at a computer and intended certain outcomes. The results showed a significant statistical improvement for the intended outcomes over just a random outcome. Filmmakers can have people “intend” for their success. These people will spend time each week to “intend” the outcome for the film. Carole will choose people who understand the power of the mind, people who care for the concept of your film and whose intentions will be supportive of you personally and your film. “New ways of thinking will be incorporated in your life. Group members are empowered with philosophical and scientific information that proves that your mind is a powerful tool for creating your future.” Carole Dean As a young housewife with unrealized dreams, Carole Dean took $20 on a dare from her husband to make something from it. That $20.00 bill was the seed for a $50,000,000 a year industry she created in the film business by selling unused raw stock and evaluated video tape.
After selling her business, she has been teaching film funding through seminars, special events, her TrailBlazer class and private consultations. Her best-selling book, “The Art of Film Funding” is now in its second edition. She reviews over 500 proposals/outlines for docs and features a year through her Roy Dean Film Grant. Documentary or Feature Film? There are three categories for classes. The two documentary classes are: Trailblazer: for people in the early stages of creating and funding their film. Pathfinder: for people who have shot most of the film and now need to finish, market the film and find distribution in this every changing hybrid market. Mastermind: for features and shorts.
