These are the list of filmmakers whose work was chosen as finalists. If your name is not on here, please do not be discouraged. Try again for our grant and other grants. If you are not piling up rejections each month you are not doing your job! Tenacity is the backbone of the filmmaker. I am always available for discussions on how to make your application better. Remember, as a filmmaker you are carrying a God-given talent and when you put your energies to making a film that raises the conscientiousness or tells us an inspiring story, the universe if behind your every wish. Always look for the little miracles each day because they are there, you just need to slow down to see them. Become your film, make it part of your DNA. Live it, breath it, think it, see yourself at night when you go to bed, run the film in your head. See the credits, fell the pride of accomplishment, feel the joy of success, look at the DP’s name and feel the pride you have for that person. See your film and feel the emotions, use this energy to bring your art from the mental realm into this physical world. A Para-gram by Paramahansa Yogananda says: “Whatever your position in life, it is you who put yourself there. Constantly carrying a thought with dynamic will power will strengthen that thought until it becomes an outward force. When your will power is developed to that extent, you can control your destiny.” Never give up! Keep the faith. Always know the universe is working with you each day and that it truly supports your film. |
